Welcome to our Peer Mentoring Program! We offer support to individuals with disabilities who are working toward achieving their goals of independent living. Our trained Peer Mentors are available to guide you, providing the support, encouragement, and instruction you need based on their personal experiences of living with disabilities.

Many of our staff members have disabilities, and as such, they have first-hand experience in learning how to self-advocate. Our staff can assist our consumers with becoming their self-advocates largely because they have been through it themselves.

What is Peer Mentoring?

Peer Mentoring pairs you with one of our trained mentors, all of whom have disabilities themselves. These mentors provide unique insights and advice, helping you navigate challenges and celebrate successes on your path to independence.

Why Choose Peer Mentoring?

Our Peer Mentors have lived through the same challenges that many people with disabilities face. They can relate to the obstacles you encounter in daily life and offer practical solutions and emotional support. Whether you’re learning self-advocacy skills, discovering new ways to navigate life, or pursuing other goals, our mentors are here to help you every step of the way.

Our Commitment to Continuous Learning

Even though our Peer Mentors have extensive personal experience, they are always learning new things about living with disabilities. This ongoing education ensures they can offer fresh and up-to-date guidance to you, our consumers.
